1.Widely used in the flavor, essence of food and tobacco, with the fragrance of chocolate and cocoa.
2. In medicine, widely used as intermediates for pyrazine amide of antituberculotic.
3. Used as insecticide in pesticide, in pigment in the fields of electronic materials, in photographic sensitizer, used as catalyzer of light polymerization of unsaturated compounds such as ethene in the macromolecule fields, as curing agent of epoxy resin, as vulcanizing agent containing halogen polymer, used as chelating agent and separating agent for many kinds of metals, as brightener for copper electroplating solution etc..
